Pieced Cotton Sateen Hand-stitched Quilted Bedcover, America, probably early 20th century, two-toned quilt, one side has a large rectangular black field with a mustard yellow border quilted with a design of a large stylized iris blossom at the center against a diamond-pattern background, bordered with an undulating lotus flower design, the reverse is solid mustard-colored fabric with the quilt design stitches carrying through, (minor light stains to borders on reverse), 66 x 85 in.
