George IV Silver Egg Server, London, 1825, John Bridge, maker, comprised of six shell and foliate-edged egg cups held within matching rectangular stand, with foliate and scroll heart-shaped handle, on four columnar legs with lion paw feet, with six associated Georgian silver egg spoons and two salt spoons, overall ht. 9 1/2, lg. 7 1/2 in., approx. 46.4 troy oz. Some marks on cups rubbed. Re-soldering to some spoon holders. Metal fatigue to one joint. Usage wear.
