Fleming, Director of the Southold Historical Society, for his kind assistance with cataloguing the lot. The lining is adhered with wax. The retouch is large numbers of dots and dashes. The dots effect the face as well. These are most prevalent (and include broad strokes) to the sky and the gentleman's suit.
