Lester F. Johnson (American, 1919-2010) Classical Figure #2, second state, edition of 10. Signed "Lester Johnson" in pencil l.r., titled and identified in an inscription l.l., numbered "10/10" in pencil l.c. Etching with soft ground on paper, plate size 17 3/4 x 14 5/8 in. (45.0 x 37.0 cm), framed. Condition: Margins 2 inches or more, foxing, not examined out of frame. Provenance: A private New England collection. The foxing is primarily to the margins, and is very visible. There are several fox marks within the image as well, but these are fewer, and much more difficult to see. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
