Sterling Center Bowl, 1865-1870, with Moore mark, round body engraved with leafy strapwork, with die rolled guilloche and leaftip rims, set with handles formed as realistically modeled polar bear heads, stem with ovoid knop with leaftip girdle, on trumpet base with further strapwork engraving, monogrammed, ht. 9 1/4 in., approx. 48.8 troy oz. good, with minor age wear including two light dings to interior. with 550 Broadway mark, and numbers 1600 2990.
