Pair of Napoleon III Ebonized Ormolu- and Sevres-style Porcelain-mounted Twin Beds, France, 19th century, each with headboard topped by cresting of bird set within flowering branches, over quadrilateral panels of putti at various pursuits and flanked by finial-topped columnar stiles, footboards with matching putti panels and flanking stiles, and with further inset plaques depicting flower sprays and large central reserves with pastoral scenes of courting couples, one a shepherd and shepherdess the other a male and female courtier, both signed "Frechs," each rail with two flower spray decorated panels, on raised half-ball feet, ht. 50 1/2, wd. 46 1/8, dp. 79 in.
