Pair of Capo di Monte Porcelain Covered Vases and Stands, Italy, late 19th century, the covered vases with scrolled snake handles, gilded trim and polychrome enameled classical figural courtyard scenes, the covers, collars, and drum bases decorated with flowers, ht. 37 in. One vase with a 1 1/4"and 1/4" chip along footrim of vase body. One vase with large hairlines to lower vase body (just below the frieze) ; the socle broken in near half and simply glued.
