Louis Icart (French, 1888-1950) Coursing III, 1930, a later impression published by the New York Graphics Society (Holland et al. , 402). Signed "Louis Icart" in pencil l.r., dated and publisher within the plate, artist's and publisher's dry stamps l.l. Etching with hand-coloring on paper, plate size 15 3/4 x 25 5 /8 in. (40.0 x 65.0 cm), in a Deco-style frame. Condition: Several pale fox marks, not examined out of frame. The work was partially removed from its frame; enough to confirm that the margins are over 1 inch, and the sheet is not laid down.
