Miniature Carved and Painted Woodcock and Great Blue Heron Figures, Harold N. Gibbs (1886-1970), Barrington, Rhode Island, mid-20th century, the figures mounted on a piece of driftwood, the woodcock signed and dated "H. Gibbs 1968" on the bottom, the heron dated "1958" and signed with the maker's conjoined "HNG" initials on the bottom, ht. 1 5/8, 4 in., respectively. Provenance: H. Gibbs; found at a Gustav White on-site auction in Peterborough, New Hampshire.
