Gertrud Staats (German, 1859-1938) Still Life of Summer Flowers in a Blue and White Pitcher Signed "G. Staats." l.r. Oil on canvas, 22 3/4 x 18 3/4 in. (57.8 x 47.6 cm), framed. Condition: Mild surface grime. Mild canvas deformation to u.l. corner. Very minimal, minor retouch or natural pigment fluorescence to upper center in the blue flowers above the daisies. Inscribed on the stretcher "Gechört Selma Kaliska."
