Yozo Hamaguchi (Japanese, 1909-2000) Ball of Yarn , 1981, edition of 120 (Hamaguchi, 156). Signed "hamaguchi" in pencil l.r., numbered "27/120" in pencil l.l. Color mezzotint on paper, plate size 3 1/8 x 4 3/4 in. (7.8 x 11.8 cm), framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame. Out of the frame the sheet is a wove paper with all deckled edges and measures 13 x 13 1/2 in. It is hinged near the upper corners. There is very faint mat burn to the margins, and pencil annotations to the corner l.l. and the verso.
