Dated October 1st, 1812. Identified in inscriptions, with extracts from Captain Hull's letters, and a list of the two warships' armament and casualties flanking the title. Engraving with hand-coloring, 13 x 17 1/4 in., in a later molded giltwood frame. Condition: Laid down onto paper, margins trimmed, top margin trimmed below plate line, small tear into image u.l., toning.
