Greek Island Composite "Qibleh" Textile, Southern Sporades Islands, 19th century, comprised of partial silk and metal thread embroidery on linen in prayer rug format with an allover design of stylized floral drawing in shades of blue/green, apple green, olive, red, aubergine, light blue, and brown, separated by segments of linen, silk and cotton tatting throughout, 3 ft. 7 in. x 2 ft. 6 in.
