Khorasan Carpet, East Persia, late 19th century, the ivory field with a bold concentric and pendanted royal blue lozenge medallion containing angular floral sprays, each corner displaying a large royal blue palmette radiating blossoming vines terminating in comb-like leaves, all within a wide bent-tip boteh and palmette main border, multiple reciprocal trefoil and floral meander minor borders, 13 ft. 7 in. x 10 ft.
