Continental, likely Italian, 18th century. Hand carved, polychrome and glass accented furniture panel, likely from a large cassone or trunk with recessed paneling through with inset glass oval medallions surrounding nine shaped panels that would have contained paintings, two remaining with figural bust and a white flying dove, remnants of gilt accents throughout. Back later converted for hanging as art object. Overall approximately 38.8" x 67".
