Carved Walnut Tall Case Clock, Henry Taylor, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, c. 1760, with flat molded hood and scroll-carved cresting above the glazed tombstone door with engaged columns on reeded plinths, the brass dial with cast gilt spandrels and a boss engraved "Henry Taylor Philadelphia" with silvered chapter ring, seconds hand, calendar aperture and eight-day brass movement, the waist with thumbmolded scroll-carved door flanked by reeded quarter-columns repeated on the base with raised panel, (imperfections), ht. 88 in.
