The visual world of Jazz Age Paris, city of Picasso, Matisse, Josephine Baker, Coco Chanel and the Ballets Russes, became the focal points of the collection and a reference and inspiration for Davidov's work. On the 90th anniversary of the landmark Art Deco exposition, Skinner is pleased to offer several important pieces from the Coda Collection. A second offering (featuring costume jewelry, paintings, and objets d'art) will come to auction in the fall of 2015.
