Group of Wrought Iron Mostly Fireplace Tools, America, late 18th/early 19th century, three shovels: one with incised tree branch decoration at base of handle and suppressed ball finial, one with faceted ball finial, and one with curved, shaped arris handle marked "E. S E.S.," with lollipop hanger, lg. to 44; a peel with faceted ball finial with incised line decoration on the shaped, arris handle, lg. 39, wd. 7, two pairs of tongs: one with a ball finial, the other with a faceted ball finial and marked "P" at the pivot, lg. to 28 1/2; and a wrought iron chimney scraper with loop hanger, lg. 74 in.
