Renaissance Revival Horner-type Writing Table, probably America, last quarter 19th century, heavily carved overall, with foliate scroll band around perimeter of the surface, chip-carved frieze with a functional drawer and faux drawer on two sides, accented by lion's head mask drawer pulls, all supported by four winged griffin pedestal legs joined by a curved shield-shaped stretcher, ht. 30 1/8, wd. 54 1/2, dp. 37 1/2 in.
