Robert Peak (American, 1927-1992) "String of Pearls"-1988, serigraph, signed lower right, edition noted lower left 159/350. Figural print depicting a woman who faces away from the viewer and looks back over her shoulder, not quite meeting the gaze of her audience; she wears an ornate hat accented with a large purple and blue hued flower; a chandelier-style pearl earring hangs from her visible ear; her gloved left hand lightly grips her right arm and a five-strand string of pearls drapes her right shoulder. She stands in abstracted space with full moon just beyond her face and with sporadic geometric patterning in the upper quadrants of the work. Framed approximately 51.75" x 38.75".
