Inscribed by James Lord Bowes to Henry C. Davis. Illustrated throughout with 41 chromolithographs. Front endpapers on both volumes detached with some chipping to edges; rubbing to boards with some loss at the corners; hinges cracked; otherwise interior is in good condition with only minimal thumb markings and no foxing.
