Elaborately framed by portraits of 11 U.S. presidents (Washington through Polk), state seals and birds-eye view cityscapes of St. Louis, Louisville, New Orleans, Cincinnati, Nashville and Pittsburgh. Engraved title vignette ("Landing and Settlement in Jamestown, 1607"). Inset maps of the Oregon Territories and the Florida Panhandle. Population and location of Indian Tribes. Framed; minor shellac discoloration; few repaired tears; otherwise fine. 53 1/4 x 41 3/4 inches.
