American, 20th century. Two framed merchandising design mixed media (marker and watercolor) sketches on grey paper for interior design and layout of upscale department store. One of smaller format with roped off small tea table, silver frames, wall sconces and fern stands. The other with a stage platform with folded clothes in wardrobe, a wingback chair, tasseled men's loafers, dressing robes and other clothes in an ornate interior with paneled walls and tiled floors. Both apparently unsigned. Larger work framed 17.25" x 22". Smaller work framed 12" x 15.75".
