S. l., 1900. Large color lithographed map of the island of Kauai. A re-issue of the 1879 map delineated by Walter E. Wall and Fred Harvey. The island was purchased by James Dole in 1922 for $1.1 million dollars and pineapple was planted there until the 1980s. Folds; some browning to creases. 28 x 34 1/2 inches.
