the octagonal box raised on a short recessed foot, the cover inset with a celadon jade circular plaque carved in low relief depicting a forward facing ferocious dragon amid clouds, the body with allover dense lotus scroll decoration against a turquoise ground, having gilt outlines, the base impressed with a four-character Qianlong mark within a square panel. Height 2 1/2 x width 4 3/4 inches.
