Two faience plates with circular pierced borders with hand painted Rouen-style decoration surrounding heraldic motif including one with crest of Brittany with two dogs on side of white shield under crown with ribboned banner that reads "A MA VIE (to my life)", the other with two lion's on side of shield with yellow dots on blue ground and boat imagery above ribbon that reads "LORIENI". Each plate marked on back "Sorient". Diameter 8.5". Provenance: From the Collection of Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
