A Bronson-Coxe fishing rod and reel trophy presented to Stan Laurel for catching the largest fish of season by The Tuna Club of Catalina Island. A small inscribed plaque on the reel states that this catch qualified Laurel for active membership in The Tuna Club, presented by Harry Baffum and reading in part: "Won By Stan Laurel 252 Pounds" for the 258-pound marlin caught by Laurel. Accompanied by a fishing rod with turned wood and metal handle, metal coupling marked "-Loc-Tite -/pat pend." The shaft of the rod is marked "Stan Laurel/ 1936."
