A production blueprint for the HMS Bounty used in the film Mutiny on the Bounty (MGM, 1962). The blueprint is of the inboard profile and deck plan. Marked "2 of 2" on an MGM Art Department stamp in the lower right corner. Additionally marked "Revised/ Date 11-14-60" and "Miniature." There are a number of notations in red pencil noting color and changes to the design. MGM built a replica of the Bounty on which to film. This replica was owned by a not-for-profit group that continued to sail the vessel. The ship was caught up in Hurricane Sandy and sunk in 2012. 30 by 41 3/4 inches Categories:
