A pencil on paper sketch of a nail executed by Henry Fonda. Enclosed in original transmittal envelope sent to actor John Crawford at the Plymouth Theatre in New York. Envelope is postmarked from Culver City, California, July 1954. Fonda and Crawford worked together in 1954 on the Broadway play The Caine Mutiny Court - Martial at the Plymouth Theatre, where Crawford was a stage hand and Fonda played Lt.
