A red and white set of Hamburg Place racing silks with white cap, gifted to Phyllis Diller by Preston Madden, descendant of Joseph Madden of Hamburg Place in Lexington, Kentucky. The inner collar of the jersey is embroidered "Allright + Barkley Lex. Ky." and the back has "Preston Madden" embroidered in white. Together with a typed, signed letter on Madden's letterhead, dated June 20, 1982, addressed to Phyllis, reading in part "you are even more sparkling in person than you are on screen" and stating that he has mailed her a set of his Hamburg Place racing silks.
