A mesh collar embellished with gold tone flies and rows of gold tone chain made for but not seen in the final cut of Cleopatra (20th Century, 1963). The collar features five rows of flies handpainted in shades of blue and lines of gold tone chains. The piece would have been made for a high ranking soldier or possibly Cleopatra herself.
