French, 18th century. Louis XV style carved walnut wood framed settee or canape with floral and leaved decoration scattered throughout. Serpentine front settee with caned back and seat with pinkish red silk fabric upholstered fitted seat pillow with red and gold trim and gold bumble bees. Settee with scrolled arms and raised on seven cabriole legs. Approximate height 39.7", width (across arms) 72.75", depth 24". Seat to floor (to top of cushion) 21.5". Seat to floor (to top of seat frame) 16.5". _x000D_
