A white wrap dress worn by Christina Applegate as “Veronica Coningstone” in the cult classic Anchorman : The Legend of Ron Burgundy (Dreamworks, 2004) starring Will Ferrell. The custom-made white silk crepe wrap dress has a square collar and cuffs. Applegate wears this dress in the cartoon dream sequence while riding a unicorn. Anchorman stars Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, and David Koechner, in a tongue-in-cheek take on the 1970’s action news format. It features a San Diego TV station where Burgundy (Ferrell) clashes with his new female counterpart, Corningstone (Applegate). Costume design by Debra McGuire.
