CHRISTIAN BALE AMERICAN HUSTLE TUXEDO JACKET

A paisley tuxedo jacket worn by Christian Bale as Irving Rosenfeld in American Hustle (Columbia, 2013). The velvet tuxedo jacket has orange, yellow, gold, teal, and red paisley print with black peak lapel, single button front, and two flap pockets. A Take Six label is sewn into the interior breast pocket with “B. Gross” written in black marker. Bale wore the jacket in the backroom of his dry cleaners with Sydney (Amy Adams). Irving watches as Sydney tries on the expensive designer clothing that was left by customers. Costume design by Michael Wilkinson. American Hustle was directed by David O’ Russell, written by Eric Warren Singer and starred, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Copper, and Jennifer Lawrence. The critically acclaimed film received ten Academy Award nominations including, Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Writing (Original Screen Play).
