A set of five stylized western leather belts worn by dancers in Whoopee ! (Samuel Goldwyn Company, 1930). There are three white, one black, and one red belt. Each has metal studded detailing, and three of them are cartridge belts. Four of the belts are stamped on the reverse "Samuel Goldwyn, Inc., LTD. WHOOPEE." The film starred Eddie Cantor with choreography by Busby Berkley and featured the premiere of the song "Makin' Whoopee." This film was the first appearance of the "Goldwyn Girls" and featured an early appearance by Betty Grable. Categories:
