An iconic insignia worn by Superman, played by George Reeves in The Adventures of Superman (Superman Incorporated, 1952–1958). This costume logo is made of a red stretch wool “S” over yellow wool and zigzag stitched together. The costume logos were hand cut and went through a series of slight changes throughout the years with matching logos being made for the front of the tunic as well as the back of the cape. Categories:
