A handwritten letter from Kris Kristofferson to Johnny Cash, undated. The letter reads in part, "Dear John, I apologize for the quality of this tape (Half of them I just sang out of a boom box). I went through weeks of angst about none of it being good enough, finally said to hell with it and put a dozen songs down...I wish I could think of a way to visit you all in Jamaica without traveling!"
