Eleven color original vintage slides of Marilyn Monroe on the set of "Some Like It Hot" (United Artists, 1959) accompanied by one additional slide of Tony Curtis dressed as his female alter-ego in the film, Josephine. In the slides Marilyn appears to relax between takes on the beach. She is wearing the revealing dress in which she attempts (and succeeds!) to seduce Curtis' character. PROVENANCE The photographs were taken by the late William J. Smith, former editor of Acme Newspictures and United Press Newspictures on a press junket.
