A cigarette case given to opera singer Helen Traubel for participating in the John F. Kennedy presidential inaugural gala. The 1961 gala was produced by Frank Sinatra and showcased the talents of many Hollywood celebrities. Traubel performed along with Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Gene Kelly, Milton Berle, Tony Curtis & Janet Leigh, George Burns & Gracie Allen, and Jimmy Durante, among many others. The lid of the box is engraved to resemble the invitation to the inaugural, interior is lined in cedar.
