Rooney won that year for his performance in Bill (Alan Landsburg Productions, 1981). Together with a membership card for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for Mickey Rooney from 1996, signed on verso; a member pin from 1947; an original program from the 49th Annual Academy Awards on March 28, 1977, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, with the winners of each category circled in pen; a bound copy of the Academy Award Nominees and Winners with a letter from the president to Rooney; and two invitations to the 65th and the 72nd Annual Academy Awards on March 29, 1993, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, and on March 26, 2000, at the Shrine Civic Auditorium in Los Angeles, respectively. During his career, Rooney won two Golden Globe Awards and was nominated for four Academy Awards, winning an honorary one.
