A pencil on onion paper set design with three levels, each titled "Elevation at A-A," "Elevation at B-B," and "Elevation at C-C. " Buildings 1 through 14 are labeled in the drawings. The bottom right of the artwork is signed by the artist and indicates that this is sheet 2 of 13 sheets in the MGM Art Department for the "Ext. Governor's Palace & Street" in William Wyler's Ben Hur (MGM, 1959), production number 1724, set number 25. The drawing is remodeled from "1724-18-20," and the art director is indicated as E. (Edward) Carfagno. The film won 11 Academy Awards in 1960, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Art Direction - Set Decoration.
