UNUSUAL RED LACQUERED AND CARVED WOOD ARM CHAIR Chinese. Circa 1900. The vigorously pierce carved backrest with two dragons inset with mother of pearl eyes chasing the flaming pearl, flanked by dragon armrests above a lacquer panel inset seat, raised on highly exaggerated curved legs ending in paw feet. Height 39 3/4". Width 29". (Cond: one arm cracked and restored but splitting, cracks to seat rail, loose arm terminals) (500/800)
