Made by Leopold Morse Company of Boston, Massachusetts. Dark blue wool worsted with sateen liner. Originally nine buttons, but all buttons, including cuffs, are missing. Stitching to collar and shoulders, possibly from officer's chevrons and epaulettes, may indicate Confederate use after battlefield pickup. Overall in good condition except missing buttons.
