ROOKWOOD Standard Glaze two-handled vase painted by Matt Daly, "Running Antelope Oncpapa," with portrait of an Indian chief, 1897. (Running Antelope, also known as Chief Tatokainyanka of the Oncpapa tribe in the Sioux Indian nation, was born in 1821 in Grand Forks, SD. He was known for his significant contributions in bridging the gap between white men and Native Americans. His picture appeared on the 1899 five-dollar silver certificate.)
