[Blow Book] Ambigu Magique. French, ca. 1778. Marbled wrappers. Illustrated with hand-colored full page engraved plates. Images include the Harlequin, playing cards, flowers, Le Mere Idienne, Soldate en Faction, Le Pere Manent, and many more. Wrappers significantly chipped at spine, internally near fine. In a drop spine box. The pages of the book change ten times when blown upon and flipped-through by the demonstrator, hence the term “Blow Book.” For further information, see R.
