[Abbott’s Get-Togethers] Film Footage from Abbott’s Magic Get-Togethers. Filmed on 8mm and Super-8 between the late 1960s and early 1970s by Peter W. Tappan, the footage includes glimpses of many of the great magicians of the era, among them Jack Gwynne, Walter Blaney and his ladder suspension, Neil Foster, Harry Blackstone, Jr., Mike Caldwell, Jay and Frances Marshall, Bob Lewis, Albert Goshman, Tom and Sherrie, and over two-dozen more. A few clips of film from other venues are also included, featuring Del Ray and Mark Wilson. In all, the footage fills three 8mm and 16 Super-8 reels. Included with the original film are DVD transfers of the footage.
