Chinese, 19th Century. Nanking underglaze Blue Fitzhugh pattern tureen with underplate. The lid having a mushroom cap finial, four chrysanthemum bouquets and wide diaper edge, the body similarly decorated and mounted to each side with twisted naturalistic branch style handles. The matching oval underplate with wide diaper edge, the interior bottom decorated with four chrysanthemum bouquets. Tureen height 11", width 14.5" (handle to handle). Underplate height 2.25", width 14.25"._x000D_
