Dieudonné Cédor (Haitian 1925-2010), "Stevedores Loading Docks", oil on canvas. Signed lower right. Unframed 32" x 23.75". Painting rendered in soft twilight-esque palette depicting two men carrying heavy sacks on their shoulders with two bent and crouching women in the background. Note: In 1967, Cédor painted a mural in the Port-au-Prince International Airport. In 1953, he was awarded Haiti's Labor Department exhibition prize and, in 1957, the Grand Work Prize of the Haitian Office of Tourism.
