Widdicomb Furniture Company (American, founded 1858), 20th century. A paint decorated French style bombe commode having a serpentine molded top over a conforming case with three long drawers and paneled sides raised on front cabriole legs terminating on scrolled toes united by a scrolling skirt. The whole painted in butternut and outlined in robin's egg blue. Impressed Widdicomb label to the top left interior drawer. Approximate height 33.75", width 49", depth 23.4".
