Birth and Baptismal Fraktur for Maria Durr, Reverend Henry Young (1792-1861), 1827, watercolor and pen and ink on paper, symmetrically designed as two hearts flanked by birds, tulips, and floral devices, (creases, repair to left side), 9 3/4 x 7 1/4 in. (sight), matted and framed. Note: Durr family fraktur are very rare. Estimate $800-1,200 Approximately one inch of the entire left side of the sheet has been restored and has associated in-painting; three horizontal folds in the sheet, minor toning and scattered light spotting.
